Explore my collection of unique and vibrant artworks inspired by nature and the human experience.
I am constantly exploring different mediums, such as clay, acrylic, pastel, oil, glass, metal, and watchparts , wood, resin, watercolor .Pretty much everything and anything at hand, things found and techniques learned or experiments along the way, i see as tools for creation.
I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style. I sketch on a pad thats always near, paint on wine glasses, refurbish pieses of furniture, create jewelry, paint on canvas, sculpt, design textiles and clothing. Ha!
Probably something else too, by the time you read this.
I'm living my best creative life.
I love listen to people, sounds of nature, and observe seroundings, i see beyond the horizone beyond the regular colors, shapes and images , my inspirations comes from the simple magic of a sunrise to important events and needs in the world, from looking into splashes of water to flickering dance of a fire. Ther are no set or preordained pieces in my work. I see my world around me and different events in my mind . These trickle, flow or explode into my work.
~Thank you for taking the time to enjoy my work

Maya Frank was born and raised in what is now Turkmenistan, in the former Soviet Union. Growing up in a modest home, she was surrounded by love, knowledge, and a deep sense of curiosity. Her parents, both surgeons, dedicated their lives to medicine, and from a young age, Maya accompanied them to their workplaces—her mother in the hospital and her father in medical research laboratories.
Watching her mother perform surgeries, Maya saw the intricate balance between precision and care, understanding early on how hands could heal and create. Meanwhile, time spent with her father in the research lab introduced her to mechanics and the meticulous nature of scientific discovery. He worked closely with astronauts and the Soviet space program, contributing to advanced medical research in extreme conditions. There, Maya learned to use a soldering iron, fuse electronic plates, and work with delicate instruments—skills that would later influence her artistic craftsmanship.
While home and the lab were places of inspiration, school presented a different reality. Facing ridicule and exclusion, Maya sought refuge in creativity. Dance, art, and design became her escape, allowing her to rebuild her confidence and shape an identity beyond the limitations others placed on her. Determined and independent, she pursued medical school, following in her parents’ footsteps while continuing to express herself through artistic endeavors.
However, before she could complete her medical studies, the collapse of the Soviet Union forced Maya and her family to flee. With no choice but to leave behind everything they had built, they sought refuge in Israel, where she started over once again. In Israel, she earned a degree in Criminology and Sociology, gaining a deeper understanding of human behavior and how experiences shape one's path. During this time, she also worked as a makeup artist, using her artistic skills to enhance not just appearances but also confidence, seeing each face as a canvas for transformation.
Determined to create a better future, Maya made the bold decision to move to the United States—with only two hundred dollars in her pocket. Starting over in a new country was a challenge unlike any before, but she faced it with resilience and determination. However, life presented its greatest hardships yet. After a devastating divorce, she faced another heartbreaking loss—the passing of her father. This tragedy, compounded by emotional and financial struggles, could have shattered her completely. Instead, she turned to the one thing that had always remained constant: art.
Pouring her emotions onto the canvas, Maya found a way to process pain and transform it into something tangible. Through a variety of artistic expressions in different forms and shapes, as well as photography, she channels her deepest emotions into her work. She actively participates in various charitable causes, using her art to support and uplift communities in need.
Maya’s artwork has been showcased in numerous galleries and exhibitions across the United States, earning her recognition in the art community. Her pieces have been featured in prestigious art events, and she has been nominated for multiple awards, solidifying her place as a visionary artist dedicated to storytelling through her creations.
